The shocks under the chassis of a Softail are difficult to adjust. The Progressive Suspension 422 Series RAP (Remote Adjustable Preload) heavy-duty shocks solve that problem. These high-performance shocks have a preload adjuster conveniently located behind the passenger's left footpeg. The RAP system allows easy adjustment of preload in line with changes in load or passenger. They are also height-adjustable by approximately 2" using standard tools.
