S&S CRANKCASE FOR LATE SHOVELHEAD AND EVOLUTION BIG TWIN - 3 5/8"

S&S Super Stock crankcases are designed to meet the needs of today’s engine builders. Whether as a direct replacement or for street racing applications, S&S Super Stock cases are manufactured with performance enthusiasts in mind. The cases are made from 356 aluminium alloy and heat-treated to T6 specifications. Although additional material has been added to key areas for increased strength, these enhancements do not affect fitment in original frames. S&S Super Stock crankcase kits include the right and left crankcases, crankcase bolts, washers and nuts, cylinder mounting studs, timing hole plug and drain plugs, assorted crankcase fittings, Timken sprocket shaft bearing kit, sprocket spacer and oil seal, cam needle bearing, oil pump drive shaft bush and installation instructions. Shovelhead-style cases feature primary sweep port machining, accept a 1981–1984 style oil pump and a 1970–2006 style primary. Evolution-style cases are machined to accept a 1992–1999 style original oil filter kit and feature the same crankcase lubrication and ventilation layout as the original 1984–1992 models. The pinion shaft bearing is not included and must be ordered separately. The bearing size depends on the pinion shaft size being used. .
