THUNDERMAX THROTTLE BODIES

The ThunderMax EFI throttle bodies and High Flow air filter provide the large airflow required for higher-performance engines. These large CNC-machined castings replace the factory designs used on 2006-up models equipped with Delphi® and are designed to accept the factory electronic components to make assembly easy. The ThunderMax High Flow air filter includes a precisely CNC-machined backplate, a 2 3/4" deep high-flow filter, breather pipe and high-performance brackets. An 8" air filter cover must be ordered separately. The throttle body and manifold are a one-piece construction and require the special ThunderMax air filter. They are designed for cable throttle models and do not work with the so-called "Fly-By-Wire" throttle system introduced in 2008 on Touring and also used on some CVO Dyna and Softail, as well as on Softail from 2016. The kits fit stock and popular high-performance engines with 1.75" oversize intake ports. Kits for other cylinder lengths are available on special order.
