S&S high pressure and volume oil pumps

The S&S high-volume high-pressure (HVHP) billet aluminium oil pump is a high-capacity pump originally designed for S&S Super Sidewinder Plus Long Block engines. These pumps feature a new tooth profile with fewer, larger teeth, providing increased oil volume to the pump’s supply and return sides. The supply gears are 9% wider than OEM or standard S&S oil pumps, giving the HVHP pump even greater oil capacity. The return gears are 28% wider than OEM or standard S&S pumps, ensuring that the additional oil supplied to the engine is removed and returned to the oil tank, preventing oil drag from the sump breather. Despite these wider gears, the HVHP pump is no thicker than the original. You can choose between one with a universal cover, offering a range of oil supply and return options for maximum flexibility in custom installations, or a standard-style cover with supply and return holes in the original 1992–1999 locations. Pump-only kits include a complete oil pump assembly with drive shaft, keyways, and drive shaft retaining rings, retaining ball and spring, pressure relief valve and spring, cover screws with O-rings, various hose fittings, plugs, screws, seals, and mounting hardware. Pump, breather, and gear kits also include the oil pump drive shaft gear, oil pump pinion shaft gear, and an S&S steel breather gear with shim set.  
 Note:  S&S crankcases have two or three letter codes stamped on the rear engine mounting surface or on the oil pump mounting surface. When the first letter is "A", use a pump for 1984-1991; when the first letter is "B", use a pump for 1992-1999.
