ZIPPERS 5-SPEED SHIFT ROD CAP CONVERSION KIT - Sportster & Buell 1991-2003

Adjusting pushrods on five-speed Sportster and Buell engines requires removing the cylinder heads and taking off the one-piece pushrod cover to reach the pushrods. This is a very complicated way of adjusting the pushrods for tuning or maintenance when adjustable pushrods have been installed. The Zippers pushrod cover conversion kit allows access to the pushrods using adapters that allow the use of the earlier style telescoping pushrod covers. The kits for 1991-2003 Sportster and Buell 5-speed contain two Siamese style aluminium bases and special seals for the front and rear cylinders that replace the OEM pushrod lower retaining tube. Kits for 2004-2022 XL Sportster & XR 1200 work with OEM riser bases. All kits include chrome stock-size telescoping pushrod covers.
