Ger Dijkshoorn (born 1947 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands) has owned one of the most established Harley-Davidson specialist workshops in Utrecht, the Netherlands, since 1978. Peter van den Barselaar, founder of the Dutch Motorcycle Academy, once complained that a lot of knowledge about classic and vintage Harleys was being lost as many veteran mechanics retired. He asked Ger to write up some details on Linkert carburettors so he could teach a course. What started as a few notes ended up as a booklet, and that Linkert manual was only a starting point. The second in the series is this manual on the DC generators used up to 1969 on most Harley-Davidson models. Available exclusively from Zodiac, in English.
