This tool locks the transmission gears on Sportster models to make removing and fitting the crankshaft sprocket nut and clutch easier. By putting the transmission in top gear (direct drive), it allows removal, installation and the exact torque to be applied when tightening the sprocket nut. Fits all 2004 to present XL1200 and HD International Export (HDI) XL 883 models.
