Descripción.


Beringer uses a grey steel outer disc, universally known as the material with the best braking characteristics, both for road and track. The outer surface is plasma coated with aluminium to protect the disc against corrosion and allow the use of any sintered metal brake pad. This very fine-grained surface increases braking power by 40% and is highly wear resistant, guaranteeing a long service life. Beringer's "Aeronal" discs have been developed for high-performance applications. They feature a narrow outer disc and aerospace-quality aluminium centres, joined by 6 bushes instead of the 12 on the classic Beringer disc. This reduces the gyroscopic effect and increases the bike's manoeuvrability. The centres are available in chrome, polished and black. For optimum performance, it is strongly recommended to use these discs with sintered pads in Beringer calipers. Not compatible with OEM brake calipers.
