.040" thick MLS (Multi-Layer Steel). Consists of a top and bottom layer of stamped stainless steel with both sides coated with a high-temperature polymer rubber layer of 250°C. The inner ring is also stainless steel. The gasket layers are riveted together, outside the gasket surface, for easy installation. The outer layers are stamped and both sides coated with a 250°C-resistant polymer rubber layer. MLS cylinder head gaskets eliminate the use of alignment pin O-rings.
