From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM style head breather, channelling to the intake with optimised breather hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. Race Only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes fittings, breather line and filter element. The back plate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
Much meticulous testing and tuning went into the design of this direct-mount BA (forged aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage; the included velocity nozzle is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared with many others. The velocity nozzle is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase inlet velocity to improve cylinder filling, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upward. Comes with a reusable, high-flow, pre-oiled red cotton filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in polished natural, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, in a solid or clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
