As standard, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breathing, channelling into the intake with vent hole locations optimised to meet emissions standards. Race Only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of Feuling external breather kit 707101, which includes fittings, vent line and filter element. The backplate is etched with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of testing and meticulous tuning went into the design of the direct-mount BA (machined aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. Complete one-piece machined aluminium cage, the included velocity stub is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The velocity stub is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase inlet speed to improve cylinder charging, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upwards. Comes with a reusable, high-flow, red pre-oiled cotton air filter element.
Note: The optional caps are available in raw polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, with a solid or clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
