One of the best ways to get started in customising is by adding a set of slip-on silencers. These Twin Slash silencers will deliver the unmistakable Vance & Hines look, boost your bike's performance and be ready for future engine upgrades, if desired. The low-restriction baffled core discs come pre-installed. Included are virtually invisible 3-inch full-coverage heat shields, which keep the 2-1/2" diameter silencer bodies free from blue discolouration.
Incorporates PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) technology, which integrates high-flow catalytic converters with chambers for a tuned roar and a greater increase in torque when accelerating through the gears.

Explanation of the innovative PCX™ technology from Vance & Hines: More power and less heat.
PCX™ technology (Power Chamber Exhaust) technically consists of high-flow catalytic converters with chambers. They are used to increase mid-range torque, achieving more responsive acceleration from a standstill. They are positioned downstream to reduce heat at the footrests/pegs by up to 20% and at the header by up to 50%, optimising rider comfort compared to the stock system.
PCX™ technology uses a high-flow dual-matrix catalyst that improves mid-range torque delivery for more responsive acceleration. All while producing a deeper, fuller roar, without compromising the style of any Vance & Hines exhaust system.
Technical tip: US silencers pre-2021 on EU 2021 onwards Softail/Touring models?
US models from 2021 onwards have only 2 O2 sensors in the headers. EU models from 2021 onwards (Euro 5 system) have a total of 3 or 4 O2 sensors, plus 1 or 2 downstream in the silencer(s) or in the balance pipe of the crossover section. Therefore, 2021-2023 US exhaust systems will not fit 2021-2023 EU models.
The FuelPak FP4 (part number 942227) allows you to deactivate the second downstream O2 sensor without triggering fault codes. This will allow you to use US or pre-2021 EU exhaust mufflers that are not equipped with a connection for a downstream O2 sensor.
