As standard, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breathing, channelling to the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. Race Only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes fittings, vent line and filter element. The back plate is etched with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of testing and meticulous tuning went into the direct-mount BA (forged aluminium air filter) design, to create excellent performance, all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage, the included velocity funnel is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The velocity funnel is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upwards. Comes with a reusable, high-flow, cotton, red air filter element, pre-oiled.
Note: The optional caps are available in raw polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, with a solid or clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
