3.3-gallon ribbed petrol tank for Mustang, with recessed fuel cap

3.3 gallons (12.5 litres). Includes a custom flush-mount style fuel cap. The decades-old classic, in a modern ribbed version. Available with an 83-up screw-in style fuel cap, pre-83 bayonet style, or with a flush-mount opening for which the special fuel cap is included. Fits a 3/8 NPT tap, located on the right-hand side. The rear section is fitted with 1/4" cross-over fuel outlets. Dimensions approx. 17" long x 11.5" wide, tunnel width 2".
Note: Pressure testing, sealing and adjusting all tanks before painting and installing them is recommended. Some tanks are painted, but this coat is applied only to prevent corrosion during storage.
