Cometic AFM gaskets feature an aluminium core and a thin, foam-like, chemically compounded and blown synthetic nitrile rubber layer bonded to both sides. Resistance to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has 85% recovery whilst maintaining strong torque retention. No re-torquing, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
