Hastings piston rings, 3-5/8" diameter, chrome/moly. STD

Compatible with 3-5/8" big bore pistons using .078" (2.0mm) compression rings and a 3/16" (.186") (4.75mm) oil ring.
Standard cylinder bore diameter: 3.625" (92.075mm).
1st ring: 2.0mm.
2nd ring: 2.0mm.
Oil seal: 4.75mm.
Note: When using 3-5/8" S&S pistons, in virtually all cases the Hastings rings for S&S pistons listed as 'S&S 3-5/8 Big Bore' should be used. These come with 1.6mm compression rings and 4.0mm oil rings. Please check before ordering.
Technical tip: Piston grooves vs. piston rings.
It is not difficult to determine whether a set of Hastings piston rings fits a given piston. You must measure the height of the piston groove on the piston itself. The 2 upper grooves are for the compression rings and the lower groove is for the oil ring. In most cases, Hastings oil rings are the low-tension 3-piece flexible type. Ring heights are listed for reference.
Technical tip: Piston oversizes.
For each oversize, the cylinder diameter increases by .010" (0.254mm). The standard cylinder diameter is given for reference purposes.
