Used to modify the air/fuel ratio without directly altering the map in the ECU. USB powered during computer programming. Easy to uninstall to return to the factory configuration. Includes a plug-and-play kit; the Power Commander V is small and can be installed discreetly under the seat. Designed to increase your bike's power, especially effective when combined with a high-performance air filter and an exhaust system. In all cases, you can optimise the fuel curve for power, rideability and/or fuel efficiency. The Power Commander has 2 different base maps, which can be switched in real time, and offers functions such as clutchless full-throttle upshifts, launch control and more.
- Map: (Input 1 or 2) The PCV can store 2 different base maps; you can switch between them in real time by connecting a switch to the MAP inputs (switch not included). You can use any type of open/close switch. The polarity of the wires is not important.
- Fuel change range: -100/+250%, and ignition advance change of +/- 20.
- 10 throttle position columns.
- Shifter: Used for full-throttle upshifts without the clutch.
- Speed: Calculates gear position in the Software Control Centre. Once gear position is set, you can alter your map according to gear position and set up gear-dependent kill times when using a quick shifter.
- Analogue: This input is for a 0-5V signal, such as engine temperature, turbo pressure, etc. Once this input is set, you can alter the fuel curve based on this input in the Power Core software.
- Launch: You can connect one wire to Input 1 or Input 2 and the other end to a switch. When this switch is actuated (continuity), it will only allow the RPM to rise to a set limit (configured in the software). When released, you will have full RPM.
Note: May not work on European models. Check whether the crankshaft position sensor is part of the alternator harness or located at the rear of the crankcase. The 948554 works with the crankshaft position sensor integrated into the alternator harness.
