Hastings piston rings, 3-5/16". +.030"

3-5/16" piston ring set with a 3/32" (.09375") parkerised grey iron compression ring and a 3/16" (.186") chrome-plated 3-piece oil ring. Compatible with 37-48 74" (1200cc) 'U' Flathead models and 48-52 61" (1000cc) E, EL Panhead models.
Standard diameter: 3-5/16" (84.138mm).
1st ring: 2.38mm (3/32").
2nd washer: 2.38mm (3/32").
Oil ring: 4.75mm (3/16").
Technical tip: Piston grooves vs. piston rings.
It is not difficult to determine whether a set of Hastings piston rings will fit a given piston. You must measure the height of the piston groove on the piston itself. The 2 upper grooves are for the compression rings, the lower groove is for the oil ring. In most cases, Hastings oil rings are the low-tension 3-piece flexible type. Ring heights are listed for reference.
Technical tip: Piston oversizes.
For each oversize, the cylinder bore increases by .010" (0.254mm). The standard cylinder bore is stated for reference.
