Cometic AFM gaskets feature an aluminium core with a thin, chemically expanded, foam-like synthetic nitrile rubber layer bonded to both sides. Resistant to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has 85% recovery whilst maintaining strong torque retention. No retorquing, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
