0.510" valve lift. The kit includes two chain-driven camshafts. The cam drive installation kit, including gear cover gasket, cam bearings and retaining ring, can be ordered separately as S&amp;S 503593. The cams can run with stock hydraulic lifters.
Hot Street cams for 88 to 95 inch engines. Over 80 HP at the rear wheel is possible with a well-tuned 88 inch engine, more with a 95/96 inch engine. Smooth idle, broad torque (2200–5600 RPM) with 9.0 to 9.5 compression ratio. Acceptable with stock springs.
Note: 1999 Twin Cam owners must purchase the 00-06 style splined driven gear separately (503575 Andrews). 00-06 models can reuse the stock 34-tooth driven gear.
Note: When using 99-06 chain driven cams for higher lift applications, upgrading to gear drive or converting to 06-up style hydraulic chain tensioners is recommended.
