Feuling, Wideband Lambda Sensor 02

This is a wideband lambda sensor, for auto-tune modules and dynamometers. It comes with 5 wires, wideband flat contacts in the connector, 18mm, 23" overall harness length. Wideband air/fuel ratio sensors perform the same function as the regular (lower cost) O2 sensor, but can work over a much wider air/fuel ratio range, measuring the amount of oxygen in the exhaust more precisely. Narrowband sensors simply switch between rich (too much fuel, too little oxygen) and lean (too much oxygen, too little fuel). Wideband sensors use a more sophisticated and costly sensing element that provides a signal to the vehicle's ECU for a better air/fuel ratio over a wider range.
