S&S HVHP oil pump kit with gears. Standard cover

With stock style cover: Feed and return ports in the stock location. This S&S High Volume High Pressure (HVHP) oil pump was designed for and used on all 4-1/8" bore S&S Super Sidewinder Plus engines. SSW+ engines are equipped with piston cooling jets that spray oil onto the underside of the pistons. This pump was designed to supply sufficient oil for the jets and the rest of the engine. Although the exterior is similar to standard S&S machined aluminium pumps, the interior is different. Among other things, wider gears are used.
Features include:
*New tooth profile on the feed and return gears for increased volume *Feed gears 9% wider *Return gears 28% wider *Same thickness as the stock pumps. The original drive shaft is reused.
Note: This pump kit includes both drive gears and a steel S&S breather valve and washer kit.
Note: The transmission gears supplied in this 'Pump Kit' will only fit 84-89 pinion shafts (models with multi-piece flywheels) and will not fit the 90-99 OEM straight pinion shafts, which are one piece with the flywheels.
