Cometic AFM gaskets feature an aluminium core and a chemically expanded, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber layer, with a thin foam appearance, bonded to both sides. Resistance to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. No re-tightening, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
