A versatile camshaft and Feuling's preferred choice for 4-1/2" stroke, 114" - 117" displacement engines seeking performance beyond Feuling's 465 profile, while maintaining direct-installation ease. The 472 offers excellent low-rpm operation and significant gains above 2,800 RPM compared to factory equipment. It responds very well to increases in cylinder bore or compression ratio, as well as exhaust systems and air filters. The use of high-performance valve springs is not mandatory, but may result in a quieter, smoother valve train.
Intake: Valve lift .468, Opening 8°, Closing 25°, Duration 213° @ 50, .117" lift @ TDC, Lobe centre 98.5°. Exhaust: Valve lift .472, Opening 50.7°, Closing 7.75°, Duration 238° @ 50, .110" lift @ TDC, Lobe centre 111.5°.
Overlap: 16°.
Note: Crankshaft specifications were measured in the engine with the lifters @ 0.050 using the standard 1.61 rocker ratio.
