0.060" thick AFM (Aluminium Foam Material). AFM gaskets are manufactured with an aluminium core and a thin layer of chemically expanded nitrile synthetic rubber, laminated to both sides. Resistance to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has an 85% recovery whilst maintaining strong torque retention. No retorquing, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
