On M8 models, the clutch cable has 2 sections, a lower and an upper one. The upper half provides the differences in the actual cable length. This Motion Pro clutch cable only replaces the upper half of the clutch cable assembly. It is available in various lengths, for use as a stock replacement or as over- or undersized for taller or shorter aftermarket handlebars. The free length is identical at 2.2" (5.6cm) for all clutch cables. Simply measure your current cable housing length and proceed accordingly. The OEM replacement number is listed for your reference.
Motion Pro's innovative design eliminates the unreliable plastic junction block parts and the OEM cable spring mechanism. Eliminating the plastic components provides better feel, precision and stiffness. The junction block and cover are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminium with a high-quality black anodised finish. The threaded adjuster provides precise, reliable cable adjustment. Premium chrome-plated terminals are used. A POM coating provides smoothness and reliability. The longitudinally wound black sheath resists compression.
Note: Does not fit Batwing (Street Glide) models due to a different 'elbow' angle.
