On this Chronoclassic 'Speedo Face', the large classic needle indicates the speed. The RPMs (up to 20,000 RPM) and all other functions are shown digitally on red LEDs.
When switched off, only the black dial is visible, for a perfect classic look. The digital display, an in-house development by Motogadget, consists of a matrix of 512 tiny super-bright red LEDs that shine through the dial when activated.
The digital display has two lines. The top line shows the gear and speed/RPM and the bottom line shows the display values, which can be changed at the touch of a button. The illuminated needle, perfectly even backlighting and automatic brightness adjustment of the LED matrix for optimum readability from direct sunlight to darkness.
Note: For non-fuel-injected motorcycles, a Motoscope Breakout Box is required to operate the indicator lights. Available as 930311 H-D J1850 and 936577 Breakout Box A / 936578 Breakout Box B for universal applications.
