Cometic AFM gaskets feature an aluminium core and a thin, foam-like, chemically expanded and compounded nitrile synthetic rubber layer bonded to both sides. Resistance to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has an 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. No re-torquing, joint sealants or silicone beads required.
