With HL2T kit to help resist lifter pressure loss when parked. With special rollers and hydraulics. S&amp;S tested up to 7800 RPM, with no pressure build-up. The bearing inner ring has an increased outer diameter to allow the use of more and larger needle bearings. The lifters are hand-fitted and pressure tested. Used in all S&amp;S Evo-style engines, but also fits standard Evo Big Twin (excl. Twin Cam) 84-99 and 86-90 XL models. These lifters are compatible with virtually any engine application.
Note: Lifters with the HL2T kit will prevent lifter pressure loss, help improve cold starts and valve timing accuracy at high RPM, but increase the overall weight of the lifter.
Note: Using tappets equipped with the HL2T kit will require the use of adjustable pushrods.
Note: See 515664 for an identical tappet set kit, without HL2T kit installed.
