"THE CURE" MAIN SPROCKET GASKET KIT FOR 4-SPEED BIG TWIN

Every Knucklehead, Panhead or Shovelhead rider knows "The Leak": the ever-present oil leak from the main gear. Now Zodiac has "The Cure", a gasket kit that will stop this oil leak! The sturdy and reliable Harley-Davidson 4-speed transmission was built for half a century, but the oil leak was always present. The reason is that Harley designed the main drive gear spacer without a gasket. This hardened two-piece stainless steel spacer has an additional Viton O-ring that permanently prevents oil from escaping between the spacer and the main drive gear. It can be easily installed without dismantling the transmission, as it sits just behind the mainshaft oil seal. The kit replaces the spacer (OEM 35171-37) in all 4-speed transmissions from 1937 to 1977 and includes the spacer washer, spacer sleeve, Viton O-ring and detailed installation instructions. Order the Total Cure kit when you do not have the main drive seal.
