JIMS BIG AXLE "POWER GLIDE" HYDRAULIC TAPPET BODIES - 0.731"

Hydraulic tappet bodies, for Panhead, Shovelhead and Evolution from 1953. Manufactured from aerospace quality steel, precision machined, hardened, and ground to tolerances of less than .0002". Inside the tappet body is a hydraulic plunger, also hardened, hand-fitted to a tolerance of .0002" using highly advanced airflow measuring instruments. The internal valve is extremely flat and is assisted by an external spring to control the hydraulic section. These tappet bodies are especially recommended for use with more radical, higher lift camshafts. With "Power Glide" tappet bodies you can get the most out of your engine without fear of a tappet collapsing or pushrods coming out of adjustment. They are capable of following the camshaft at any rpm a Harley-Davidson engine can reach, using the appropriate components.
