These tappets are precision machined, then heat treated and finally ground to total readings of less than .0002" with a 16 finish. They are called "fat axle" because they have greater roller strength and will not deform, even when used with extremely high lift. For 1953-1964 Panhead and 1965-1984 Shovelhead with adjustable pushrods with 1/4" lower ball heads. The tappets have the original .731" diameter and are sold individually. Note: Oversized axles may not fit stock tappet blocks and may require modification. Alternatively, order ZPN 131182 or 131183.
