Crank pins are manufactured from ASTM 4115 hot-rolled and cemented to 58-62Rc.
Incorporates the latest cage needle bearings for greater durability at high rpm
Exclusive large end design with side recesses and strategically placed ventilation slots to minimise bearing track deformation at high rpm
The small ends are double-drilled to supply extra lubrication and cooling to the pin bearing, particularly important when the piston crown is close to the bearing.
Shot-peened to remove surface stress risers and smooth the connecting rod forging radii.
Double honing produces an ultra-round rolling surface for greater reliability at high rpm
Most conrod sets are sold complete with conrod, crankpin, conrod bearing, big-end bearing, and phosphor bronze thrust washers with silver plating.
