Running an open belt drive on 1970-early 1984 4-speed Big Twins usually means losing the main shaft support of the inner primary case. This bearing support is the solution for models with chain final drive. Does not fit Big Twins originally supplied with belt final drive or late 1984-1986 Big Twins originally supplied with a diaphragm clutch.
