S&S Superstock™ oil pans, manufactured from 356-T6 aluminium, are significantly stronger than the standard OEM oil pan. OEM pans can fail in high-performance applications or even in standard applications, as many have discovered at their own expense. These S&S Superstock™ oil pans can be used for both standard replacement and competition purposes. For the engine builder, the substantial labour savings achieved by using S&S oil pans are crucial. These oil pans come 'prepared' with Timken main bearing seats for the crankshaft and needle bearings for the camshaft installed, as well as the press-fit and ground-in-line main bearing seat for the pinion shaft. Additional supplied parts include Timken bearings for the crankshaft, cylinder studs, nickel-plated oil pan bolts, oil pan fittings, oil pressure sensor, oil pan drain plugs (timing and magnetic), and a special S&S alternator stator clamp bolt. Flywheel scrapers are machined to fit original 8-1/2" diameter flywheels. S&S oil pans maximise oil suction efficiency via a vented 'port' design. S&S oil pans provide clearance for displacements up to 5", requiring no additional machining for long-stroke crankshafts. S&S oil pans are supplied complete with fitting instructions.

Note: For Evo Big Twin 84-E85 models, an L85-91 style cylinder head bolt kit must be used. These can be ordered separately as MCS 505266 (Gardner-Westcott) or 989599 (Colony), in standard lengths only.
Note: In 70-91 applications the H-D aluminium oil pump (26190-73) or the S&S oil pump, MCS 519923, can be used.
Note: In any application, the technician must be able to assess the suitability of the components in combination with the other engine components before installation. It is important that a qualified mechanic performs the installation and any necessary adjustments.
