Tensile strength 3900 daN (39 kN). 530 X-ring chain for use on bikes of up to 140 bhp. The AFAM 530 XMR3 is a quality chain that includes a solid riveted master link. The X-ring system is designed as an improvement over conventional O-ring chains. The nitrile rubber X-ring offers minimised friction whilst providing better sealing capability. Less friction translates to more power at the rear wheel, and the X-ring better retains lubrication on the inside and abrasive dirt/water on the outside, thus improving the durability of the chain. The use of modern steel alloys has allowed engineers to design a lighter yet strong chain, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio and impact resistance.
Note: These chains come with a solid rivet-type master link. If desired, the hollow pin connecting link / master link (998005) must be ordered separately.
