The original factory (OEM) clutch on early models from 1941 to 1967 uses 3 steel plates and 4 friction plates; later models from 1968 to 1984 require 4 steel plates and 5 friction plates. However, the physical dimensions are identical.
OEM replacement reference 37975-81 (the OEM was fitted with anti-noise dampers).
