Friction and steel plate kit. Extra plate kits have been a favourite among high-performance bike owners for years. With the same clutch spring pressure, the extra plates create more surface area, which increases clutch holding capacity, faster engagement and better heat absorption. The clutch friction plate kit includes 'G3' friction plates (incl. 6 friction plates and 3 packing plates). G3 is a newly developed friction material that offers performance equal to or better than Alto Carbonite clutch material. It is formulated with graphitic carbon particles, making it the most durable and consistent to date, with improved shifts and less wear from clutch slip for high horsepower and torque applications. Incl. 8 x 581916 (0.107/2.72mm friction), 3 x 581909 (0.151"/3.84mm) friction packing plates and 9 x 581920 (0.056"/1.42mm thick) steel drive plates and 1 x 518914 (0.079"/2.01mm thick).
