High steel clutch drive plate set, 'Performance steel'

Steel clutch plate set only. This 'Performance Steel' plate set is identical to Alto's 'Kolene-steel' plates, with the salt-bath nitriding hardening process. However, these Performance Steel plates are polished to achieve a lower controlled surface roughness (RA) value, i.e. a smoother surface. This microscopically smoother surface reduces the occurrence of hot spots, helping to decrease heat build-up and the occurrence of plate warping.
In short, this is an excellent clutch plate set for engines from stock to very high performance, and a direct replacement for the OEM clutch plate set.
Includes: 5x 581912 (thickness 0.063"/1.6mm), 2x 581913 (thickness 0.078"/1.98mm) and 1x 581914 (thickness 0.079"/2.01mm).
Note: Compatible with OEM components and friction plates. The high-performance Alto G3 Black friction plate kit, reference 581910, can be ordered separately.
