More and more Harley riders want to improve the performance of their motorcycle and ride at higher speeds. But Harley-Davidsons are not designed for high-speed use. They tend to drift out of long, fast bends and start "wallowing in the rear" when ridden at high speed. This is usually caused by unstable steering. Using the Hyperpro steering damper will drastically improve the stability and handling of your motorcycle. Highly recommended for all High Performance bikes and mandatory for competition. Hyperpro steering dampers are proudly manufactured in the Netherlands and feature 22-step adjustable linear damping. Steering dampers and brackets are sold separately. Ready-to-install mounting bracket kits are available for a limited number of models. For other applications, it is strongly recommended that a qualified mechanic install the steering damper using the individual clamps for the frame, fork and damper tube. A 140mm-stroke steering damper works with most custom accessories.
