Andrews, Big Twin camshaft sprocket. Oversized (black)

Black. Oversized. Press-fit installation on the camshaft. Used to correct the backlash (clearance) between the cam sprocket (on the cam) and the drive sprocket (the smaller drive sprocket). Excessive backlash will cause a clicking sound; insufficient backlash will cause a whining sound. To correct the backlash, you can use smaller or larger drive sprockets, or smaller or larger Andrews cam sprockets.
Note: See cam gauges 503768 (.108") and 503769 (.105") for measuring cam pinions and drive pinions.
Note: To determine whether you need a 70-E77 or L77-84 model Shovel cam sprocket? Measure the outer diameter of the cam sprocket on the camshaft to be replaced. The 70-E77 cam sprocket will measure approx. 70mm. The L77-84 cam sprocket will measure approx. 69mm.
