Andrews camshafts for Sportster Evolution

Andrews has developed a range of camshafts especially for boosting Evolution Sportster engines. All the camshafts listed have been designed to run up to 6500 RPM with stock hydraulic lifters. Because the stock lifters are so proven, we recommend not replacing them with solid lifters. Andrews camshafts for Evolution Sportster have the same base circle diameter as the originals, excepting the V9 BV, which allows the use of stock non-adjustable pushrods. We also have adjustable pushrods available in aluminium or chrome-molybdenum. The camshaft sprocket, with 36 teeth, as used on 2000-2022 models, is not the same as that used on 1991-1999 models.

Note: 1991 Sportster engines are considerably different from earlier Sportster Evolutions. Pre-1991 camshafts will not work on 1991-1999 Evolution Sportsters. 2000-2022 models use a different no. 2 pinion gear to 1991-1999 models. For this reason, different references have been listed. Models from 2004 have different stem diameters and springs; installing camshafts with more than .515" lift may require different valves, springs and retainers.
