Arlen Ness, M8 Velocity air filter kit 65°. Chrome

Having a large filtration area helps enormously when trying to maximise airflow through a filter. But building a huge filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. By adding the inner surface of the air cleaner to the outer surface, a great deal of filtration area is gained. With the radius-integrated air intake, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow numbers Ness has ever tested. The final design gives the 65° air cleaners a very small, custom and attractive intake manifold look that effectively draws in air from all sides. The filter elements are made of synthetic material. They resist water, so a rain sock is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse, clean and reinstall. No oiling necessary.
Note: The breather design seals with an o-ring in the cylinder heads, passes through the backing plate and locates inside the throttle body mouth. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
Note: Not compatible with 64 mm Stage 4 throttle bodies.
