Arlen Ness, M8 Velocity 90° air filter kit. Chrome

Chrome finish. Having a large filtration surface helps enormously to maximise airflow through the filter. But building an enormous filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. Adding the inner surface of the air cleaner to the outer surface adds a huge amount of filtration area. With the integrated radiused air inlet, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow figures ever tested by Ness. The final appearance gives the air cleaner a very small, custom, attractive velocity stack look that will effectively draw in air from all sides and also give you more legroom. The filter elements are made of synthetic material. They withstand water, so a rain cover is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse and refit. No oiling required.
Note: The breather design is O-ring sealed in the cylinder heads, passes through the back plate and sits inside the throttle body/carburettor mouth. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
Note: Not compatible with 64 mm Stage 4 throttle bodies.
