Arlen Ness, 90° Velocity air filter kit for Sportster. Black

Full black anodised finish. Having a large filtration surface is essential to maximise airflow through the filter. However, building a huge filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. By adding the inner surface of the air cleaner to the outer one, the filtration surface is greatly increased. With the radiused integrated air inlet, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow figures ever tested by Ness. The final appearance gives the air cleaner a very compact, custom and attractive velocity stack look, which efficiently draws in air from all sides and also provides more legroom. The filter elements are made from synthetic material. They withstand water, so a rain cover is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse and refit. No oiling necessary.
Note: The breather design is O-ring sealed in the heads, passes through the back plate and sits inside the throttle body/carburettor mouth. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
