Arlen Ness, Velocity 65° black air filter kit

When trying to maximise airflow through a filter, it helps enormously to have a large filtering area. But building a huge filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. Adding the inner surface of the air cleaner to the outer one adds a great deal of filtering area. With the radiused integrated air inlet, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow numbers Ness has ever tested. The final design gives the 65° air cleaners a very small, attractive custom velocity stack look that effectively draws in air from all sides. The filter elements are made from synthetic material. They resist water; a rain sock is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse and refit. No oil required.
Note: The breather design has an O-ring at the heads, passes through the back plate and seats inside the throttle body mouth. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
