Arlen Ness, Velocity 65° black air filter kit

When trying to maximise airflow through a filter, having a large filtering area helps enormously. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. But building a huge filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. Adding the inner surface of the air cleaner to the outer one adds a great deal of filtering area. With the radius-integrated air inlet, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow numbers Ness has ever tested. The final design gives the 65° air cleaners a very small, attractive speed stack look, which will effectively draw in air from all sides. The filter elements are made of synthetic material. They resist water; a rain sock is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse and reinstall. No oil required.
Note: The breather design is sealed with an O-ring at the heads, passes through the back plate and is placed inside the mouth of the throttle body. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
