Arlen Ness, Velocity 65° air filter kit chrome

Having a large filtration area helps enormously when trying to maximise airflow through a filter. But building a huge filter was not viable; it had to be small and highly effective. This is where the Arlen Ness designers started. Adding the internal surface of the air cleaner to the external surface adds a huge amount of filtration area. With the integrated radius air intake, this air cleaner showed some of the highest flow numbers Ness has ever tested. The final finish gives the 65° air cleaners a very small, custom and attractive intake manifold look that will effectively draw in air from all sides. The filter elements are made of synthetic material. They resist water, so a rain sock is generally not required. The filters are reusable; simply rinse and reinstall. No oiling necessary.
Note: The breather design seals with an o-ring in the cylinder heads, passes through the backing plate and locates inside the throttle body mouth. This eliminates external breather hoses so nothing detracts from the clean look.
