Cylinder head gasket of fibre reinforced paper, PTFE coated, blue, 1mm (.040").
This gasket is made with MotorGasket M0115, a material developed and produced by Athena. MotorGasket M0115 consists of a central steel layer, with an asbestos-free material composed of a high percentage of aramid fibres, inorganic inserts and NBR rubber as a binder on the sides. M0115 offers good resistance to mechanical and thermal stress and adheres well to surfaces. It is resistant to oils, fuels, water-glycol mixtures and corrosion. It is suitable for cylinder head gaskets in internal combustion engines, intake and exhaust manifolds, and other applications subjected to high mechanical and thermal stress.
