BDL, 3" Street Drive belt drive kit. Electric start. Polished

Bearing lock clutch. Without starter, without oil filter. This 3" belt primary with electric start is designed for 70-78 Shovelhead models with 4-speed top ratchet transmission, rear chain only. Modifications are required to install this kit. Among others: when fitting to FX models, the oil tank bracket must be cut to allow proper mounting of the starter. On FL models, this modification is not required. On both FL and FX models, the L79-86 clutch arm (MCS 516400, OEM 37054-79A) must be used. Some relieving work is required on this arm. Street Drive has been, and remains, the standard in 3" open primaries for years. Complete with the proven-performance BDL (ETC) standard clutch. 76-47 drive ratio.
Note: A BDL starter is available as 518658. Any other 89-93 model starter motor can also be used, provided it has standard dimensions.
